Jesus Quintana has a few choice words of advice for Bulls general manager John Paxson:
"What's this day of rest shit? What's this bullshit? I don't fuckin' care! It don't matter to Jesus. But you're not foolin' me, man. You might fool the fucks in the league office, but you don't fool Jesus. This bush league psyche-out stuff. Laughable, man - ha ha! I would have fucked you in the ass Saturday. I fuck you in the ass next Wednesday instead. Wooo! You got a date Wednesday, baby!"
Next Wednesday just happens to be the last day before the NBA trade deadline on February 21st. Paxson, who foolishly ignored my previous advice to sell high, now needs to figure out a way to improve his assembled roster of average to slightly-above-average players that have been exposed this season.
Ben Wallace would be the ideal candidate for Paxson to ship out of town. While most thieves use a ski mask and pistol to rob a bank, Wallace comes armed with a headband and afro. Wallace's contract has him looting the Bulls for $28.5 million over the next two seasons. Not attractive numbers for an aging, undersized center who bats the basketball around like a volleyball on rebounds.
So ridding the team of his contract will likely mean taking on another team's bad contract. That's how the NBA works. Andrei Kirilenko of Utah has been rumored to be involved in trade discussions with the Bulls. Now Andrei, while younger and less of a coach-killer that Wallace, has over $50 million owed to him through 2011.
Regardless, Paxson needs to pull the trigger on some kind of trade. Otherwise, he's going to cement his reputation as just another gun shy general manager in the NBA. He passed on Gasol, Garnett, and Kobe before the Bulls season went into the tank. With the arms race going on the Western Conference (Gasol to LA, Shaq to Phoenix), it would be nice to see Paxson do something besides buying out Viktor Khryapa's contract and sending him back to mother Russia.

AGGGHHHH!!! I missed it all AGAIN. You need to give a clue, as to when you're going to post your stash!
